All students (junior and adult) must wear an all white karate uniform with an elastic waistband to participate in class. Uniforms can be purchased from the instructor.
Before being allowed to advance in rank, junior students must have their FIRST name put on the back of their uniform top in 2" BLACK BLOCK letters (other styles and colors are not acceptable). Adult students must have their LAST name in the same style. This must be done professionally (no hand printing or painting) with vinyl letters or embroidery.
Uniforms must be kept clean and neat. The uniform should be washed in cold water, however never wash the belt regardless of how dirty it gets. Students must wear their complete uniform to class (top, pants and belt). Before or after class, it is proper to wear the uniform pants and a t-shirt. Never wear the top without the belt and/or uniform pants. The karate uniform should only be worn in class and at karate events. Uniforms should not be worn while shopping, playing sports, eating, or as a Halloween Costume, etc.
A special competition uniform can be purchased and worn at specific times by any orange belt or above student. Junior students must have their FIRST name put on the back of this uniform top in 2" WHITE BLOCK letters. Adults should have their LAST name in the same style. (other styles and colors are not acceptable).
The competition uniform may be worn at the following times:
- Any tournament
- In class 4 weeks prior to an A.S.K. or W.P.K. tournament
- Rank tests
- Special functions and seminars
Red Belt Uniforms:
First level red belts will receive and wear a red uniform upon passing their test. Fourth level red belts will receive and wear black uniform pants upon passing their test. The junior student's first name should be put on the back of the uniform in 2" BLOCK letters. White letters should be used on the red uniform.
Demo Team Uniforms:
After achieving their Green Belt, a student may be invited to try out for and join the Wolf Pack Karate Demo Team (The Alpha Pack). Demo Team members wear a uniform that is different from the Red Belt or Competition uniforms. Team Members must have their FIRST name put on the back of this uniform top in 2" WHITE BLOCK letters (other styles and colors are not acceptable). They must also have both patches on the front of their uniform before being allowed to participate in any demonstration. The Demo Team uniform may be worn at the following times:
- All team demonstrations
- Any time a competition uniform may be worn. (See Above)
Brown Belt Uniforms:
Adults who receive their Third Degree Brown Belt will receive a solid Black uniform. The Brown Belt's LAST name should be put on the back in 2" WHITE BLOCK letters. Brown Belts may wear a solid black, solid white or competition uniform with white pants. No other combinations are permitted.
